Halaal outlets
Due to the abundant queries regarding eating places the Council of Ulama Eastern Cape has decided to form a data base regarding Muslim owned food establishments in the Eastern Cape.
The information displayed will be information we gathered on our visits to these Muslim owned food establishments. We are not certifying or approving any establishment as we do not have the manpower to do so. We are merely linking the consumer with a certifying body.
The Council of Ulama Eastern Cape is not a halaal certifying body. We act purely on the information supplied by the Muslim owned outlet. The onus is on the consumer to verify the products of any outlet and one’s own discretion should be used when eating out. The Council of Ulama Eastern Cape is not responsible for monitoring any outlet nor in control of any outlet’s sourcing their products.
